Green Roof Asset Design for Vice

Taking Green Roof Ecology class at Parsons School of Design has given me opportunity to work with Vice’s green roof, located in the company’s office in Brooklyn, NY.

Problem: Staff at Vice office although involving with their green roof, have limited knowledge about green roof ecology and what role their resource plays in the overall urban ecology.

Solution: Creating design assets that correspond with Vice’s brand for spreading throughout the office and encouraging staff to learn more about their roof.

Result: Three cards with cohesive graphics that match Vice’s brand identity to invite people to involve in the subject through three different approaches.

I was fortunate enough to work with other amazing students in the class, and you can see our work by visiting

Front of the three cards

First card. Bold graphic elements and an interesting fact are used to engage with the viewers

Second card. Showing the structure of Vice’s green roof opens up another perspective for the staff to think about their roof

The third card spells out green roof benefits clearly and in a friendly way for better engagement

Finished card design at Vice’s office in Brooklyn.
